Wow...

Ok, so... Friday... we go to housing and find out we are getting moved... well we have to move ourselves, so out of our pocket, fine whatever, we knew that... what we didn't expect was to move... that day. They said... you have 5 duty days to move. So Friday, we get a loan (because we were broke and not expecting to move yet) then rented a van (because they don't have covered trucks) and with the help of awesome friends, managed to move all of our crap from the old place to the new one. Well in order for us to officially "clear quarters" of the old place, we have to pass a white glove inspection. We decided to hire someone who guarantees to pass... yeah well.... $160 and a messy house later... we ended up spending $65 on cleaning supplies that we needed to re-clean the house the lady cleaned. (Trust me, I am NOT a happy camper right now). We'll find out tomorrow if our efforts did us any good... our inspection is at 10 tomorrow morning. Anyways, to look at the bright side of things we got a house. I am talking a house with a yard... a HOUSE. Not a multiplex, not a duplex... a H O U S E. We have a two bedroom, two bathroom, kitchen with WALK IN PANTRY, master bedroom with WALK IN CLOSET, a UTILITY ROOM, closets galore... and a YARD. (Pics will be up on my facebook soon, gotta unpack that cord for the camera... wherever THAT is...). We have managed to at least hook up our Vonage (thank goodness!), our internet and cable (total necessities you know, lol) and the computers... My kitchen is unpacked completely, dining room is done, living room is almost there, the office/baby's room is almost there and our bedroom... its so so. My favorite room in the house right now, is our Guest Bathroom. We went and bought new stuff for it. It is the only room with a complete theme. (Except for the shower curtain, which I pick up tomorrow afternoon.) Riley is not sure what to do, being moved around twice in the first week away from her mom and litter mates. Potty training is difficult right now, with the door being blocked and all. But we are working on it. Trying to make her sleep in her crate and not our bed (which is good in the long run, I don't want to have to fight for space from my hubby AND my puppy). Tomorrow is a long day, going to HR to see about a new job, then finish cleaning the old place, then the inspection, then the kittens have an appointment for shots, then go get that shower curtain... then oh yeah, work. Lol. Its all good though. PLEASE PRAY THAT WE PASS OUR INSPECTION. If we don't, we only have 24 hours to fix what is wrong, if we then don't pass again, we have to pay to live in our new house until the old house passes. We cannot afford that at all. Anywhos, I must get moving. My taco leftovers are calling my name. :)

Much love to you my readers,
Kris
